All-inclusive Cruise
This pack includes : the navigational map of the region + the rental of 2 basic bicycles + the hourly rate of navigation + the cleaning costs at the end of the voyage (inside and outside of the boat) + the Cruise Plus Insurance (damage waiver).
This pack does not include: the boat rental and the cancellation fee.

One-Way Trip:
Given all the problems which can arise with this sort of cruise, a one-way trip and whether it remains a one-way trip and not a return trip cannot be confirmed until one week before departure and there will be an additional charge to pay on arrival. One-way trips are not possible with more than 2 boats travelling together.

In the case of a one-way trip, we offer to transfer your vehicle from the departure base to the base where you will arrive. The fees for this service depend on the route and tend to be between 54 and 100. It is advisable to reserve this service in advance. In certain places, you can also consider using shuttle buses, taxis or trains.
Transfer of Crew:
Another option for those participating in a one-way trip is our shuttle service which offers to drive one or more persons from the arrival base to the departure base in order to recuperate the vehicle. The fees for this service depend on the route, but range between 35 and 45 per person.
Parking/Garages:
Free parking for your vehicle is possible everywhere. In certain bases we offer a closed car park for your vehicle from 20 to 46 per week, or garage car parking from 35 to 100 per week depending on the vehicle and the base.
FPP Hamper:
All our bases are located near shopping centres where you can do your grocery shopping before departing. However, if you wish, you may order the FPP hamper. This hamper contains an assortment of products: salt, pepper, sugar, condiments, bread, water, vinegar, coffee, tea, milk, yogurt, lettuce, eggs, pasta etc. Request the complete list from our reservation team. The price is 70.
Pets:
Pets are welcome aboard our boats. However, you are responsible for their behaviour and there is a fee of 15 to 90 at certain bases and at others there is no charge.
River Maps:
All the boats are equipped with a logbook which contains a certain number of navigational indicators. Nevertheless, if you wish to plan your cruise well, you ca order a river map when you make your reservation. There are maps available for all inland waterways. Be careful, sometimes 2 maps are necessary for certain itineraries (i.e. for the one-way trip from Digion to Pontailler you need the map of the Central Canal and that of the Canal Saône). These maps cost 22 each.
Bow Thrusters:
Some of our boats are equipped with bow thrusters, a small propeller located at the bow of the boat which can be used to direct the bow laterally. This propeller greatly facilitates the manoeuvres of the boat. However, the usage of this propeller is principally in the shallow canals when there is a high risk of taking in mud in the motor, or hitting rocks. If this propeller fails during the cruise it is often impossible to fix and hence the voyage will end without a bow thrusters, making manoeuvres more difficult. If you need to repair the propeller during the cruise, this will be charged to your account. Due to the unpredictable nature of river navigation, it is possible that the boat with a bow thruster that you reserved will not be available on the day of departure. In this case it will be deducted from a fixed amount (maximum 10 per day).
Deck Table and Chairs:
This service is only available on boats with another space on the deck, the Linssen Yacht 36, Linssen Vlet 1030, Espade Concept Fly, Tarpon 37, Tarpon 32, Tarpon 42 and the Tarpon 49. It consists of a table and stackable chairs (1 per person and an umbrella) and is free.
Converter 12 volts/220 volts (max 100watts) :
This converter plugs into the 12V and allows you to recharge mobile phones or cameras. It costs 10 for a week, or 5 for a mini-week or weekend.
Barbeque Rental :
10 to 35 per week, or for mini-weeks and weekends it costs 5 to 20 (coal is not supplied).
Bicycles :
- Adult Range:
these are bicycles that permit you to ride along the towpaths but which are not built for long rides in particular off-road riding, 28 to 46 per week, 18 to 29 for the weekend or mini-week.
- Junior Bikes:
suitable for the children, 26 per week, or 16 for the weekend of mini-week.
Rental of Fishing rods :
Certain bases can provide you with fishing rods. The fishing kit is composed of a fishing rod and a new line at 8 per week, 5 for the weekend or mini-week, this is amateur fishing material. You can reserve this service when you make your booking.
Fishing Licence :
A fishing licence is generally obligatory to fish on public property. You can obtain one in the town near the base. The price is around 30, you are also able to purchase them at certain bases.
Baby kit:
This kit includes a high chair, a baby bath, a foldout bed, a baby lifejacket and if you have rented bicycles, a baby bicycle seat. This kit is available to you to help make your stay aboard one of our houseboats more enjoyable for both the parents and the baby. Dont forget to order this service when you reserve your boat as this service is free.
Cleaning Service :
This option means you do not have to clean the entire boat (inside and outside) before returning it. If you do not choose this option, a deposit is required on boarding. The cleaning service is obligatory if you bring your pet with you on your journey.
Order this option when you book in order to benefit from the 25% discount on the deposit.

Cancellation Plan :
This plan means you will be refunded the amount that you have paid in certain cases of cancellation (see General Hiring Conditions).
Insurance :
The Canalous fleet is completely insured. Nevertheless, we hope you will take care of the boat and all its equipment. This insurance includes a deductible and as such a deposit will be sought in all cases before boarding. The boats insurance does not cover the person hiring the boat nor his crew, their responsibility towards others nor their personal belongings.
Cruise Plus Insurance :
This insurance covers: the interruption of the cruise, the propeller breaking, the bicycles, injuries and guarantees the refund of the deposit. This insurance does not mean you will not have to pay the deposit on boarding and is a collective contract (a copy of the general conditions is available on demand).
